The yearly fee is $ 50.00 but the Club year starts in May and you will NOT have to pay for the time until then.

Membership includes the Bitter Newsletter (BvN) in English or German (your choice) that is being pubished in irregular intervals
about 2-4 times a year. We are also there for you as far as technical questions are concerned. However it might happen that I have
to relay your question to Germany and in that case there will be a time delay until you will receive an answer.

The Club has the remaining stock of parts from the Bitter Company in it's possession. If ANYBODY can get the part it is the BCI.
It is also THE address for any Bitter related question or problem.

Martin Wilhelm for example is an automotive engineer who was teaching Fuel Injection Systems and Automatic Transmissions at Opel.
He knows these cars inside and out and his knowledge goes WAY beyond the two topics mentioned above.

Here two examples from my personal experience.

When I was ready to replace the automatic transmission on SC 508 he diagnosed the problem via e-mail and through a few specific questions
and tests that he asked me to perfom. The problem turned out to be a sub-$10.00 item. The wrong speedometer gear had been installed.

Another time my car started sputtering and after a few seconds refused to run at all. Over the phone he found out
that the rev-limiter relay had bad ground. A bit of cleaning and the car ran again. I on the other hand had seen myself installing
a new fuel pump and/or a fuel pump relay. This diagnosis again saved me money in the 3-digit Dollare range.
